MHM stands for Martin, Hanchar, and Mason (aka DoctorCton)
This is an experimental exposition of 2 very talented players, that being Jeff Martin on drums and Josh Hanchar on electric bass guitar and one very weird electric guitarist, that being Clinton Mason.
The purpose of this gig was to bring this group together and play as an improvised group, much as The Rub is wont to do. Since DoctorCton loves playing in The Rub, he wished to showcase this group to an audience at a pop-up market/festival of sorts called "Hunt and Gather" at the Lake County Fairgrounds in the industrial building. These events usually sprawl across 2 days and are 4 to 5 times a year. Hunt and Gather feature boutique foods, antiques, home made wares of all kinds, art, jewelry, clothing and so much more. There's also musical acts and beer. ...and this time, I wanted in on the action.
What you will hear is much like a Rub show, except we just stay at our stations and play jam after jam. We experiment on whatever is thrown at us. Included is one "cover", and can you guess what it is? Hint: it's by H.Hancock.
Thanks to all who had a hand in this. Special thanks to Jeff and Josh for agreeing to this. I really enjoyed this and it was dope! Thanks also to C.Lathrop for loaning me "the robin" guitar that made all the sounds. I think I finally need the strings swapped out! Thanks to The Rub for jamming with me all these years.
Let us play again soon!

A note about all our music: It is live and improvised by the members of The Rub and friends. It is free to listen to and distribute. It is not free to profit from, so instead, contact us and we'll discuss business. Thank you for enjoying "The Rub" aka "hereinliestherub".
